Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival 2013

Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival 2013 is being held in Tokyo Dome from January 24th through the 30th.



I joined the partnership quilt (The theme is circle). Tulip block is mine.
11500 blocks were gathered in total and these blocks became 89 quilts. Profits of selling charity tickets are used to support to welfare activities.









Special Feature is 'Tales of Two Ladies': Tasha Tudor and Lucy Boston whom Japanese quilters love and respect.



I joined the exhibit explanations of Lucy Boston. The guide is Diana Boston who is a daughter-in-law of Lucy Boston.
